Clean Up Your Act Campaign
Fall 2024
In my Message Design course at Chapman University, I was on the event planning committee for the Clean Up Your Act Campaign to promote sustainability on Chapman’s campus. Specifically, proper recycling practices and sustainable transportation. My team and I planned and facilitated four separate events to promote sustainability, including a raffle in collaboration with the sustainable brand Patagonia, a thrifting event with shopping items available and a drop box to donate clothes, a chance to win free recycled tote bags for following Chapman’s Sustainability social media accounts, and more. We were able to gain over 50 social media followers and had a lot of attendance and participation for our events and raffle. I set up and tabled at all four of our events, explaining to Chapman students our goals of reducing Chapman’s carbon footprint and how they can get involved.

New Business Idea with a Marketing Plan

In my Marketing Through a Communication Lens course at Chapman University, my group members and I created a new business called VitalPaws. VitalPaws is a revolutionary smart collar that combines health monitoring, GPS tracking, and a live camera to give pet owners peace of mind. With features like heart rate tracking, exercise monitoring, and stress level detection, VitalPaws helps keep pets healthy and safe. It’s a great tool for pet owners who want to be more connected to their pets. With easy-to-use tech and real-time updates, VitalPaws lets you see your pet’s world anytime, anywhere.
We created VitalPaws to meet the growing demand for more innovative, more connected pet care solutions. Peace of mind into one sleek, easy-to-use collar. Allowing pet owners to monitor their pets whether they’re at home or on the go. We aim to empower pet owners with the information they need to make informed decisions about their pets’ health and security.
Along with this, we have three primary business goals:

Selling 100,000-200,000 units in 1st year

In this project, we provided an environmental scan, a SWOT analysis, marketing objectives, marketing strategies, pricing strategy, packaging and presentation, marketing and distribution, our VitalPaws app, competitor analysis, an Implementation plan, Implementation launch party, PR outlets, a marketing matrix, and potential Instagram posts with captions. In this project, I primarily focused on our SWOT analysis, our packaging and presentation, and our competitor analysis.
MiFleet Website Rebranding
Assisted The Director of Marketing and Creative Director
As a Marketing Intern, I worked closely with The Director of Marketing and Creative Director. I worked on the marketing for the MiFleet website. MiFleet is a fleet management website that primarily assists businesses and individuals who want to track their belongings or business products. I logged into the MiFleet website to edit pages about the GPS tracking devices. I updated the descriptions, selected new images, and edited the wording for features and benefits for over 20 different products.
